Borussia Dortmund defeated Union Berlin 4-2
In the seventh week of the Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund defeated Union Berlin at home 4-2.
Borussia Dortmund got the game off to a quick start at Signal Iduna Park with a goal from Niklas Füllkrug in the 7th minute and took a 1-0 lead. However, Union Berlin quickly responded to this goal with a header from Robin Gosens in the 9th minute, making the score 1-1. Unión Berlin took a 2-1 lead with a penalty goal from Leonardo Bonucci in the 31st minute and ended the first half with this score.

In the second half of the match, Borussia Dortmund were effective on the field with the support of their fans. The score was 4-2 with goals from Nico Schlotterbeck in the 49th minute, Julian Brandt in the 54th minute and Julian Ryerson in the 71st minute. With this result, Borussia Dortmund continues its streak of four consecutive victories in the Bundesliga and increases their points to 17. Union Berlin, on the other hand, failed to win in the last five matches and kept their points at 6.
Other results from matches of the day in the Bundesliga are the following: While Darmstadt 98 defeated Augsburg 2-1 away, Stuttgart beat Wolfsburg at home 3-1. The match between Leipzig and Bochum ended in a draw with a score of 0-0. (AA)
