In this league, which was previously called the European Club Cup and the European Club Championship, Real Madrid maintains its title as the team that has won the most titles with 11 times.
The Spanish representative, who achieved his first victory in 1964, achieved his other victories in 1965, 1967, 1968, 1974, 1978, 1980, 1995, 2015 and 2018. Last season, the Greek representative defeated Olympiakos in the final and achieved his eleventh victory.
CSKA MOSCOW IS IN SECOND PLACE
On the other hand, Russia’s CSKA Moscow is just behind Real Madrid with 8 championships.
CSKA Moscow, which defeated the Turkish team Anadolu Efes with a score of 91-83 in this prestigious organization in the 2018-2019 season, reached the final 14 times in total and was proclaimed champion in 1961, 1963, 1969, 1971 , 2006, 2008 and 2016.
However, Russian teams, which were eliminated from the EuroLeague in the 2021-2022 season due to tensions between Russia and Ukraine, will also not be able to participate in the league this year.
ACHIEVEMENTS OF PANA AND MACCABI
In the most prestigious organization in European basketball, Maccabi of Israel and Panathinaikos of Greece share first place with six titles each. Maccabi, which reached a total of 15 finals in this great organization, experienced the joy of the championship in 1977, 1981, 2001, 2004, 2005 and 2014.

In the 2000-2001 basketball season, two different championships were held as a result of the dispute between FIBA and ULEB.
