Lionel Messi buys luxury mansion in South Florida
Lionel Messi is buying a nearly $10.8 million mansion in a South Florida suburb after a blockbuster deal lured the soccer superstar to the United States.
According to public records, the purchase was made by a firm linked to Alfonso Nebot Armisen, who helps manage Messi’s investments. According to the release, the 10,000-square-foot home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has 8 bedrooms, a three-car garage, and a pool. The property previously sold in May 2022 for $9 million.

15 MINUTES FROM THE STATE
The mansion is located next to the DRV PNK stadium, where Messi’s Inter Miami currently plays. (pronounced “Drive Pink”) It is about 15 minutes by car.
Messi rejected an offer from Saudi Arabia earlier this year to join the team in a historic deal for American soccer. The Argentine superstar has already made a name for himself by leading Inter Miami to victory in the League Cup, bringing in new sponsors and selling out matches in a matter of minutes.
Messi also owns other homes in the Miami area, including a $7.3 million full-floor condo in Sunny Isles Beach.
