Player richer than Messi at Inter Miami: the incredible wealth of Leonardo Campana
Leo Messi has already made history at Inter Miami, showing that he is a true football ‘alien’ with 11 goals in 10 games. But if we look at the financial side of the business, surprisingly there is someone on this team who surpasses the Argentine star in terms of wealth. This ‘duck’ is Leonardo Campana, a youth soccer player from Ecuador, born in 2000, who plays with the same shirt as Pulce and represents his team.
His career has yet to shine at the big clubs in Europe, but when it comes to wealth, he’s at the top of the list. In fact, Campana comes from an incredibly wealthy family with a family fortune in excess of one billion euros.

THE WEALTH OF BELL LEFT BEHIND MESSI
The main source of this wealth is his grandmother, Isabel Noboa, one of Ecuador’s successful businesswomen.
His grandfather, Isidro Campana, helped build the iconic Guayaquil stadium, where Messi played unforgettable matches. Campana scored his first professional goal at this stadium. His family is one of the wealthiest on the continent with a successful history in the private business industry.

Leonardo’s father, Pablo Campana, was Ecuador’s Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment and earned a huge income after retiring from professional tennis. Leonardo’s uncle, Álvaro Campana, is a well-known businessman in South America; another uncle, Daniel Noboa, may become president of Ecuador.
In terms of personal wealth, Leonardo Campana surpasses both Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi. Messi’s fortune is estimated at around 500 million euros, while Campana’s is over one billion.

Despite his wealth, Campana is modest in football and sees Messi (with whom he won the League Cup) as the reference on the pitch.
