Sasere only recently extended his contract with Vaduz for another two years, but he is now moving up to the Hungarian top league. According to the football club, they agreed not to disclose the terms of the transfer.
Since last summer, the Nigerian has made 48 official appearances for Vaduz. He has ten goals and six assists. “Franklin recently approached us with a request from the Újpest Football Club and asked us to move to Hungary for family reasons. Although Franklin was actively involved in the planning of the season, we were looking for a solution that could meet his wishes.
We were also able to respond to the planned departure of Seyfedin Chubbi and close this gap in attack. We wish Franklin all the best and every success in Budapest for the future,” FCV sporting director Franz Burgmeier said of Sacere’s departure.
