Arsenal sign Kai Havertz

Arsenal, one of the English Premier League teams, signed German striker Kai Havertz.

In the statement made by the club, it was noted that the 24-year-old footballer who wears the Chelsea shirt signed a long-term contract.

Having transferred from Bayer Leverkusen to Chelsea in 2020, Havertz scored 32 goals in 139 appearances across all lanes. The German striker helped his team win the UEFA Champions League with a goal against Manchester City two years ago.

Arsenal, who made his first transfer this summer, shelled out £65m for their new striker.

“It’s very exciting for me to join this great club and be part of the Arsenal family,” said Havertz, who will wear the number 29 shirt. Arsenal have a great history and I hope we can achieve a lot together.” he used the phrases. (AA)
