The riddle of Harry Kane at Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Harry Kane will not be transferred this summer. Sources told ESPN that Bayern Munich have increased their interest in the England captain, but Tottenham will not commit to this situation.
Bayern have made an offer of 70 million euros ($76.6 million) for the 29-year-old Kane. However, sources who spoke to ESPN stated that the Spurs did not receive an official offer from the German giant.
Tottenham are well aware that Bayern have attracted the interest of Kane, who is entering the final year of his contract with the London club. However, the club has no plans to sell the striker during the transfer window.
MANCHESTER UNITED IS FOR KANE
It is known that Manchester United is also closely monitoring Kane’s situation. However, sources speaking to ESPN have repeatedly stated that the player’s transfer to Old Trafford is unlikely unless Tottenham are told he wants to leave this summer.
If Kane declines to sign a new contract, he will be eligible to leave as a free agent at the end of next season. He, too, may meet teams abroad in January to negotiate a transfer at the end of next season.
