The frustration of Lionel Messi

Argentine star Lionel Messi, who wondered which team he would play for for a long time after his contract with Paris Saint Germain (PSG) expired, used his pick in favor of David Beckham’s team, Inter Miami.

Lionel Messi, who went on vacation after the transfer that caused a stir in the United States, disappointed a fan. A fan who traveled 2,000 km for Inter Miami’s away game with the Philadelphia Union was disappointed when he couldn’t see the Argentine star.

Standing out with a banner he opened in the stands, the fan wrote: “I traveled 1,200 miles (2,000 km) to see the best of them all,” using a photo of a goat with a soccer ball at his side, which stands for GOAT (Greatest Of all times).

However, the unfortunate fan threw the poster to the ground in frustration when he learned that Lionel Messi was on vacation.

Inter Miami’s rival team, the Philadelphia Union, shared the fans’ disappointment on their official social media account.

The Philadelphia Union team won the match 4-1. The home team scored Jakob Glesnes in the 14th minute, Julián Carranza in the 39th minute, 45+4. Leon Flach in the minute and David Ruiz in minute 68 scored an own goal. Inter Miami’s only goal came from Robert Taylor in the 50th minute.

With this victory, the Philadelphia Union moved up to fourth place with 34 points, while Inter Miami was last with 15 points.
