Switzerland refuses victory over Romania, which they considered safe

The Swiss national football team loses the first points in the fourth match of the qualifying tournament for the European Championship. Two late goals conceded in the Group I summit against Romania in Lucerne 2-2.

Zeki Amdouni scored twice in the first half after assists from Ruben Vargas and Xherdan Shaqiri in SFV’s longtime dominant pick. These were the 4th and 5th goals in the fifth international match of the 22-year-old Basel striker. Romanian Joker Valentin Mihaila scored twice in the 89th and 92nd minutes.

Instead of extending the lead in the table to five points with a fourth win, the two teams are still separated by two points. Israel is three points behind Switzerland. The next qualifying games will take place after the summer break. Switzerland will play Kosovo away on 9 September and Andorra at home in Sion three days later.
