Jorge Martín wins the MotoGP German Grand Prix
The seventh race of the MotoGP World Championship season, the most important motorcycle racing organization, was held over 30 laps at the 3.67-kilometre Sachsenring circuit in the city of Chemnitz.
The Spanish rider of the Prima Pramac team, Jorge Martín, knew how to dominate the Italian motorcyclist Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo) in the race, whose last laps were the scene of great emotion. In the fight, where the lead changed hands many times, Martin came to the finish in first place, narrowly ahead of his opponent, and took his second MotoGP victory of his career.
Bagnaia, who crossed the finish line 0.064 seconds behind Martin, was in second place and Johann Zarco (Prima Pramac), 7.013 seconds off the leader, was in third place.
Raising his score to 160, Bagnaia continued his lead in the drivers’ standings. The Italian driver was followed by Martin with 144 points.
The eighth race of the season, the Dutch Grand Prix, will take place on June 25.
