The road to Paris 2024 will go through the European Games
Athletes from 10 branches will try to get tickets to Paris 2024 at the European Games that will take place from June 21 to July 2 in the city of Krakow and the Malopolska region of Poland.
A serious score will be awarded to athletes on their way to qualifying for Paris 2024 in a total of 8 legs.
In the games where Paris will pass through Poland, the Olympic quota will be divided directly into shooting, boxing, break dancing, canoeing (streaming slalom), table tennis, modern pentathlon, archery, rugby 7, artistic swimming and branch jumping.
Athletes who will compete in the branches of badminton, 3×3 basketball, cycling (BMX, Mountain), fencing, judo, taekwondo and triathlon will accumulate quota points for Paris 2024.
THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP WILL BE HELD IN 11 BRANCHES
The 11 branches that will take place in the III European Games will have the characteristic of the European Championship.
Athletes from artistic swimming, athletics (team), badminton, backwater canoeing, canoeing-streaming slalom, BMX bike, mountain biking, jumping, judo (mixed team), modern pentathlon, teqball will fight to become European champions .
NATIONAL ATHLETES WITH OLYMPIC MEDAL WILL GO ON STAGE FOR THE PARIS TICKET
Three national athletes who won medals at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games will try to win the spot for Paris 2024 in Poland.
One of the last Olympic champions, Busenaz Sürmeneli in boxing and Mete Gazoz in archery will fight to secure a trip to Paris.
Olympic runner-up boxer Buse Naz Çakıroğlu will also step into the ring to earn a berth for Paris 2024.
In the taekwondo branch that will award Paris 2024 quota points, Olympic medalists Hakan Reçber and Hatice Kübra İlgün will also participate in the Polish games. (AA)
