Celebrities flock to the stands at the Giants League final

Celebrities and world football stars gathered at the historic Champions League final in Istanbul

The UEFA Champions League final match played between Manchester City and Inter in Istanbul was witnessed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, as well as the ministers of the new cabinet. Youth and Sports Minister Osman Askin Bak and Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy closely followed the final match and cup ceremony at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium.

In the final of the UEFA Champions League, which Istanbul hosted again after 18 years, the British representative Manchester City and the Italian team Inter faced each other. Manchester City of England won the match, beating Inter of Italy 1-0 with Rodri’s goal in the 68th minute.

He became the captain of Manchester City, laughing in the match between our national player Hakan Çalhanoğlu from Inter and İlkay Gündoğan of Turkish origin. İlkay Gündoğan also went down in history as the first player of Turkish origin to achieve this feat.

While approximately 70,000 soccer fans watched the game at the stadium, big names in soccer, coaches, former soccer players, club presidents, ministers, parliamentarians, artists, and many celebrities did not miss this historic moment.
