Interesting event at the French Open! they were disqualified

Miyu Kato and Aldila Sutjiadi disqualified

Miyu Kato and Aldila Sutjiadi, who competed in the women’s doubles category at the French Open Grand Slam Tennis Tournament (Roland Garros), were disqualified when the ball hit the ball boy while play was stopped.

An interesting event took place in the match of the 3rd round of women’s doubles on the 8th day of the tournament held in the capital, Paris. Losing the first set 7-6 against Marie Bouzkova and Sara Sorribes Tormo, the Kato-Sutjiadi duo took a 3-1 lead in the second set. After the score in the fifth game, where the score was 30-30, Kato hit the ball into the opposite court with her racket.

The ball hit one of the children on the court. Kato approached the boy and apologized in the continuation of the position. The rival pair went to the chair umpire, who warned Kato after the incident and said that the boy was crying. Kato and his teammate were disqualified because the ball accidentally hurt another person while the match was stopped.

Sutjiadi tried to comfort Kato, who couldn’t hold back her tears after she missed them. (AA)
