Borussia Dortmund at the top with a week to go
On matchday 33 of the First German Football League (Bundesliga), Borussia Dortmund defeated Augsburg 3-0 as a visitor and rose to the lead in the last week.
After the leader Bayern Munich lost 3-1 to Leipzig yesterday, Borussia Dortmund beat Augsburg and became the new owner of the top and was very close to the championship.
Borussia Dortmund’s goals came from Haller in the 58th and 84th minute and Brandt in the 90th.
With a week to go in the league, Borussia Dortmund increased their score to 70 and took the lead, while Bayern Munich fell to second place with 68 points.
Borussia Dortmund will host Mainz 05 at home last week, while Bayern Munich will face Cologne away.
