The name of the men’s singles final at the Rome Open has been revealed: Rune-Medvedev

The semifinals were played in the men’s singles category at the 80 Rome Open Tennis Tournament, which was held on clay courts at the Foro Italico Complex in Rome, the capital of Italy.

In the first semifinal match of the day, seventh-seeded Holger Rune of Denmark and fourth-seeded Casper Ruud shared their trump cards.

Casper Ruud won the first set in a tie-break 7-6, while Rune won the second set 6-4, and the situation in the sets reached 1-1.

Rune won the final set 6-2 and won the match 2-1 and advanced to the final.

In the second leg of the semifinals, third seed Daniil Medvedev of Russia faced fifth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece, who played in the final in Rome last year.

Although the situation was 4-4 in the first set of the fight, the match, which was interrupted for about 4 hours due to rain, was able to end at night.

Medvedev defeated Tsitsipas 2-0 in straight sets at 7-5 to reach the ATP Masters 1000-point finals for the first time in his career.
