Lionel Messi apologizes, returns to training

Argentine star Lionel Messi, who played for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), one of the teams in the French First Soccer League (Serie A), began training with the team after apologizing.

In the statement issued from the official PSG account, it was reported that the photo of Messi, 35, was shared in morning training and participates in studies with the team.

Messi, who was suspended for two weeks by the club for traveling to Saudi Arabia without permission, apologized to his teammates in a statement posted on his social media account last week.

The Argentine star was not in the squad for the league match played yesterday, where his team beat Troyes 3-1 at home.

Messi, who came to a happy ending with the Argentine National Team in the 2022 FIFA World Cup and was selected as the best player of the tournament, scored 20 goals and 19 assists in 37 games played in all lanes with the PSG shirt this season.
