First game difference between Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns
The NBA play-offs continued with a single game. In the first game of the Western Conference play-off semifinals, the Denver Nuggets, who finished the regular season as the leaders, hosted the conference’s fourth-place Phoenix Suns.
The Nuggets, who defended harder especially in the second quarter of the fight compared to their opponent, won the game 125-107 with an 18-point margin and led 1-0 in the series.
The Nuggets’ Jamal Murray scored 34 points, 9 assists and 5 rebounds, Nikola Jokic scored 24 points, 19 rebounds and 5 assists, and Aaron Gordon played an important role in the victory with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Bruce Brown finished with 14 points, Michael Porter with 11 points and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope with 10 points.
Kevin Durant had 29 points and 14 rebounds, Devin Booker 27 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds, Deandre Ayton 14 points and 7 rebounds, Chris Paul 11 points and 5 assists for the Suns.
