Barcelona made the difference

On matchday 32 of the Spanish Football First League (LaLiga), leader Barcelona defeated Real Betis 4-0 in the match played on the field.

Barcelona closed the first part winning 3-0 with goals from Andreas Christensen (Min 14), Robert Lewandowski (Min 36) and Raphinha (Min 39). Continuing their attacks in the second half, the Catalan team determined the score with an own goal by Guido Rodríguez in the 82nd minute.

Edgar González Estrada, who received a red card in the 33rd minute at Real Betis, left his team with 10 players.
After Betis used all five of their substitutions, 9 players remained on the field after captain Joaquín was unable to continue the game with injury in the 80th minute.

Increasing their score to 79, Barcelona continued to lead by 11 points ahead of second-place Real Madrid. Real Betis remained in sixth place with 49 points.

On the other hand, the fight for the top of the LaLiga top scorer career was lively this week. Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema scored a hat-trick against Almería, increasing the total number of goals to 17, and Barcelona’s Polish striker Lewandowski continued to lead with 19 goals.

In the top scorers race, Getafe Enes Ünal and Espanyol Joselu occupy the 3rd position with 13 goals each. (AA)
