‘Unlucky’ night at Old Trafford! Results in the Europa League

Manchester United, victim of bad luck against Sevilla

Hosting Sevilla in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League quarter-final, Manchester United left the field with a 2-2 draw after scoring twice in the dying moments of the game, where they went up 2-0.

Manchester United, who entered the locker room 2-0 with goals from Marcel Sabitzer in the 14th and 21st minutes, had chances to increase the difference in the second half, but could not take advantage. Increasing the pressure in the last minutes, Sevilla reduced the difference to 1 after 84′.

The score was 2-1 when Jesús Navas’ shot hit Tyrell Malacia and hit the net. Finding successive positions in extra time, Sevilla made it 2-2 when a header from Harry Maguire’s En Nesyri at 90+2 scored and left Old Trafford happy before the rematch.

HALIL UMUT MELER DIRECTED, JUVENTUS WINS

In the game led by FIFA-licensed referee Halil Umut Meler, Juventus defeated Sporting Lisbon 1-0 with a goal from Federico Gatti in the 73rd minute.

For his part, the Polish goalkeeper of Juventus, Wojciech Szczesny, left the game in tears due to difficulty breathing, and was replaced by Mattia Perin in the 44th minute. Szczesny is good according to the first examination carried out by the medical team, and that he will be transferred to the hospital for detailed checks.
