EURO 2024 Qualifiers week 2: Historic comeback for Kazakhstan

The second week of the Euro 2024 Qualifiers (EURO 2024) began with 8 matches.

In the second week of the EURO 2024 Qualifying, matches were played in groups C, H and J.

KAZAKHSTAN IS BACK!

Kazakhstan scored the most impressive score of the night in Group H. Despite taking the lead against Slovenia in the first group game, the Kazakhs lost 2-1 and did not score against Denmark.

Denmark finished the first half up 2-0 with goals from the Atalanta striker Höjlund in the 21st and 35th minutes.

Zainutdinov’s penalty goal in the 73rd minute in Kazakhstan lit the fuse. Tagybergen scored a fantastic goal from outside the penalty area in minute 86, making it 2-2, while the goal that sent the Kazakh fans crazy came from Aimbetov in minute 89: 3-2.

ENGLAND DONE IN 3 MINUTES!

England hosted Ukraine at Wembley Stadium in Group C and won the fight 2-0 with goals from Harry Kane in the 37th minute and Bukayo Saka in the 40th minute. Coming to 6 points at the end of two legs, England took the lead in the group.

Losing to England in their opener, Italy beat Malta 2-0 with Mateo Retegui in the 15th minute and Matteo Pessina in the 27th minute fanning the nets.

PORTUGAL ATTENDED 6 THIS TIME!

Defeating Liechtenstein 4-0 in the first game, Portugal beat Luxembourg in the 2nd round of Group J, with Cristiano Ronaldo in the 9th and 31st minute, Joao Félix in the 15th minute, Bernardo Silva in the 18th minute, Otavio in minute 77 and 88. In the second minute, Rafael Leao shook the net and defeated him 6-0.

Meanwhile, the 38-year-old Ronaldo, the new holder of the record for most international appearances in football history, scored his 11th goal in the 11th game against Luxembourg.
