Phil Foden underwent surgery for appendicitis

Phil Foden, who played for Manchester City, one of the English Premier League teams, was withdrawn from the England National Team due to the removal of his appendix.

In the statement issued by the club, it was indicated that the 22-year-old footballer, who was hospitalized during the national team camp, had his appendix removed in an operation in London.

In the second week of the Euro 2024 Qualifiers (EURO 2024), Foden, who will face Ukraine today, will be dropped from England’s squad and will not be able to play the league match to be played on April 1, when El Manchester City will host Liverpool.
