Paul George closed out the regular season
Star player Paul George, who plays for the Los Angeles Clippers, one of the American Basketball League (NBA) teams, will be sidelined for 2-3 weeks due to his injury.
In the statement issued by the club, it was indicated that the 32-year-old player, who was diagnosed with tension in his right knee after medical control, will continue his treatment for 2-3 weeks.
According to US press reports, George, who was injured in the game in which the Clippers were defeated 101-100 yesterday by the Oklahoma City Thunder, is expected to close out the regular season.
George’s health will be reassessed if the fifth-ranked Clippers continue in the season from the play-off or play-in phases.
George, who was selected as his eighth career All-Star this season, averaged 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.5 steals per game. (AA)
