Everyone thought I was 18, but…

They publish shocking document on the age of Youssoufa Moukoko

It was claimed that the actual age of Borussia Dortmund’s Youssoufa Moukoko, who played twice for the Germany national team and scored 3 goals in 5 appearances for the U-21 team, was not 18 years old.

These rumors about the Dortmund player have been on the agenda for some time. However, the German newspaper Bild revived the accusations with the document it published on the subject. In the copy of the birth certificate number 4621/2000 issued in Cameroon in the name of ‘Youssoufa Mohamadou’, the said child’s date of birth is July 19, 2000.

Bunte magazine stumbled across the document while researching Moukoko’s resume. Moukoko, who did everything possible to ban the document, the authenticity of which was unclear, had the certificate banned by court decision the day before their first national match in November 2022. As a result of the lawsuit filed by the magazine “ Bunte”, the Frankfurt District Court struck down the ban in February.

FOUR YEARS AND FOUR MONTHS OF DIFFERENCE!

After Moukoko’s defeat in court, the paper published the document for the first time. If the authenticity of the document is proven, it will be revealed that Moukoko is actually not 18 years old, but four years and four months, that is, 22 years old.

Moukoko’s parents in Germany are the taxi driver Ousman Mohamadou and the housewife Youssoufa Haira. Joseph Moukoko, who has lived in Germany for 40 years and brought Youssoufa Moukoko, who is reportedly nine years old, to Hamburg in 2014, swore he was the Dortmund footballer’s biological father during banning proceedings in court.

CAMEROON THREAT

“Journal du Cameroun”, one of Cameroon’s local newspapers, wrote that Moukoko’s family wanted Moukoko to play for Cameroon in the World Cup in Qatar. His legal guardian wanted Youssoufa to play for Germany. Shortly after, a WhatsApp message from a local Cameroonian politician threatening Joseph Moukoko was made public. The Cameroonian politician, who said he knew the boy’s background, said he would contact FIFA if Youssoufa played for Germany.

MOUKOKO STATEMENT FROM DORTMUND

The Hamburg-Harburg registry office confirmed that Moukoko’s birth was confirmed in Germany in 2016. His birthday is therefore officially documented as November 20, 2004. Speaking to Bild, Borussia Dortmund’s lawyer said: “All the official documents we have available confirm Moukoko’s date of birth in 2004.” he used his statements.

However, the registry office did not disclose from which sources these documents were made in Germany.
