Cremonese beat Roma for their first win in Serie A

Cremonese faced Roma on matchday 24 of the Italian Serie A. The home team won the match 2-1 at the Giovanni Zini Stadium.

Cremonese took the 1-0 lead with Tsadjout’s goal in the 17th minute. After a long struggle, Roma balanced the 1-1 lead with Spinazzola’s goal in the 71st minute.

In minute 83, Ciofani, who entered the game in minute 78, caught goalkeeper Patricio from a penalty and put his team ahead again: 2-1.

With the score not changing in the remaining minutes, Cremonese got their first Serie A win this season. The home team took the previous victory in Serie A on March 31, 1996.

On the other hand, the coach of Roma, José Mourinho, was sent to the stands after an argument with the fourth official and saw the red card for the third time this season.

Following this result, Cremonese moved up to 19th place with 12 points, while Roma dropped to 5th place with 44 points.
