Skiing and snowboarding spectacle on the Flumserberg

This weekend will see the last races of the World Ski Championship. Those who prefer to race live will get their money’s worth this weekend in the Flumserberg ski area. For the ninth time, GiantXTour races will take place in Flumserberg. A series of events invites anyone with skis or snowboards to take part in the cross country competition on Saturday. On Sunday, only snowboarders will be able to compete again at the Audi Snowboard SBX Open.

Football rivalry at Kybunpark

FC St. Gallen hosts FC Lucerne on Sunday. The rivalry between Espen and Central Switzerland has not diminished since the defeat in the cup final. In addition, FCSG would like to forget about the defeat last week. With a win over Lucerne, it should be easy. Start at Kybunpark at 14:15. Carnival is everywhere

This weekend the fools will pay off. Throughout the country, FM1 hosts numerous masquerade balls. You can find an overview here. There are also several parades, for example in St. Gallen and Altstetten. Can’t move? No problem! TVO and FM1Today show the Altstätter parade live (Sunday from 2:11 pm).

Palace “queer & black”

Grove from Bristol, England, is a guest at the Palace on Saturday. With a mixture of heavy punk dancehall, jungle, RnB, bass and breakbeat, Grove powerfully explores all registers of Afro-Caribbean heritage. The “Queer + Black” EP was praised by Resident Advisor, CRACK, Them, The Times, and Bandcamp Daily, among others, and was named one of the best EPs of the year by Mixmag. Doors open at 9pm.

Grabenhalle in the hands of Zurich

At the Grabenhalle, Saturday is reserved for Zurich. Fabian Sigmund aka Fai Baba sings in the best Zurich German for the first time on his sixth studio album “Veränderet”. You can hear stories from his life that are based on communicating with his own language, experiences and thoughts. Also from Zurich is the singer-songwriter Pina Palau. It allows the audience to admire their songs, smile, see familiar and well-known things in a new light.
