Real Madrid champion for the fifth time

Real Madrid won the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup

In the final match of the FIFA Club World Cup 2022 played at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, the UEFA Champions League champion Real Madrid and the last champion of the Champions League of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Al-Hilal. Defeating their opponent 5-3, Real Madrid reached the championship.

Vinicius Junior in minutes 13 and 69, Federico Valverde in minutes 18 and 58 and Karim Benzema in minute 54 scored the goals that gave Real Madrid victory. El-Hilal’s goals came from Moussa Marega in the 26th minute and from Luciano Vietto in the 63rd and 79th minutes.

The Spanish team has won the title for the fifth time after 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

In the match for third place, the Brazilian representative Flamengo, led by Vitor Pereira, defeated the El-Ehli team of Egypt 4-2. (AA)
