Messages of condolence and support from Italy

After the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, the national footballers and some clubs that play in the Italian First Football League (Serie A) published a message of solidarity and condolence.

National footballer Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who played for the Inter team, said on his Twitter account: “I wish mercy for those who died in the earthquake that took place in Kahramanmaraş and was felt in many cities, and a speedy recovery for the injured. I hope we get through these painful days with as little loss and damage as possible. Condolences to our nation.”

National footballer Merih Demiral, who plays for the Atalanta team, also said in his message: “It hurts my heart to see the people of my country in this state and to witness their pain. I hope God helps you. I hope we get through this together. Those who have the slightest negligence, let them do it as God knows. “I can’t think of anything else to say,” he said.
Demiral also asked people in the quake area not to enter damaged buildings.

The young Turkish player Emirhan İlkhan in the Sampdoria jersey also posted on social media: “Words are meaningless, words are not enough to compare with the pain experienced… I send my wishes for God’s mercy to those who We lost in the earthquake, and get very soon to all injured citizens. My prayers are with you.”

MESSAGES OF SOLIDARITY FROM THE CLUBS OF SERIE A

In a Twitter message shared by the Roma club about the earthquake, the expressions “The thoughts and prayers of everyone at AS Roma are with all those affected by the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria.”

Milan, one of the well-established Serie A clubs in Italy, shared a recovery message shortly after the earthquake, whose epicenter was Kahramanmaraş and many cities were affected. “AC Milan offers its deepest condolences to all those affected by the earthquakes that affected Turkey and Syria,” the club shared on its social media account.

The Turin club and Sampdoria also shared a message. While the Sampdoria club shared on its Twitter account: “Our thoughts are with Turkey, Syria and all those affected by this devastating earthquake”, Torino also said: “The Turin Football Club expresses its loving closeness to the people most affected by the devastating earthquake in Syria and Turkey”.
