Lillard’s 50 points weren’t enough to win

In the American Basketball League (NBA), the Cleveland Cavaliers won the road game 119-113, in which Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers scored 50 points.

The Cavaliers, one of the ambitious teams in the Eastern Conference, defeated the Trail Blazers, chasing the play-offs in the Western Conference. The Cavaliers’ Donovan Mitchell 26 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, Jarrett Allen 24 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, and Darius Garland 20 points, 10 assists were the architects of the victory. Cedi Osman scored 2 points.

Star point guard for the host Trail Blazers, Lillard, has crossed the 50-point threshold for the 13th time in his career. Jerami Grant also scored 22 points.

Furkan Korkmaz, who plays for the Philadelphia 76ers, finished the game with 2 points, as his team lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder 133-114 on the field.

LAKERS 2 LOST AFTER OT

The game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks was the scene of great expectation. The visiting team, the Mavericks, won the game 119-115, where regulation ended 101-101 and the first overtime ended 108-108.

Luka Doncic, who made it even for the Mavericks with his field 3-pointer in the final minute of regulation and the first of overtime, posted the 56th triple-double of his career with 35 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists.

Christian Wood had 24 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 blocks and Tim Hardaway had 22 points and 8 rebounds for the Mavericks.

In the Lakers front, LeBron James’ 24 points, 16 rebounds, 9 assists and Russell Westbrook’s 28 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists could not prevent defeat.

THE CELTICS WIN AGAIN

The Boston Celtics, who have the highest winning percentage in the Eastern Conference and the league, won the game 109-98 against the second-place Brooklyn Nets.

Jayson Tatum took the lead with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the Celtics, who took the field without All-star player Jaylen Brown but posted their fifth straight win.

Kyrie Irving had 24 points, 6 assists and TJ Warren had 20 points for the Nets.
