Gareth Bale says goodbye to football

Gareth Bale, who throughout his career played for Real Madrid, Tottenham, Southampton and Los Angeles FC, said goodbye to football at the age of 33.

Bale, who left Real Madrid in 2022, where he broke the record as the world’s most expensive signing in 2013 with a transfer fee of 101 million euros, managed to score 40 goals with the Wales national team shirt, which he wore 111 times.

Announcing his retirement from social media, the Welsh star said: “Thank you to all my old clubs. Now is the time to move on to a new stage in my life.”

Gareth Bale scored 186 goals and 139 assists in 554 games during his career; He won 5 Champions League, 3 La Liga and 3 UEFA Super Cups with Real Madrid.

At the end of her ballet career, she won the MLS Cup.
