The grandstand collapsed at the basketball game!

It has been reported that 27 people were injured as a result of the collapse of one of the iron barriers of the amphitheater where the spectators were during the basketball game played in the indoor sports center in the city of Egypt on October 6.

According to local Egyptian media reports, one of the iron barriers of the amphitheater collapsed during the Basketball Super Cup match between the teams of El-İttihat and El-Ehli. The match was canceled due to the incident.

In a written statement, Egyptian Sports Minister Ashraf Subhi said that according to initial determinations, the incident occurred due to a fight between fans and a committee was formed to clarify the matter.

The Ministry of Health shared the information that 27 people injured in the incident were treated in hospitals and that they were not at risk of life.
