Ronaldo broke his silence: It’s not worth it!

Cristiano Ronaldo: It’s not worth it!

While Portugal was disappointed in the 2022 World Cup quarterfinals, lost to Morocco and said goodbye to the tournament, star name Cristiano Ronaldo broke his silence.

Breaking bridges with Manchester United in his pre-tournament interview, Ronaldo shared his feelings after the World Cup, where he performed poorly and was the focus of many discussions.

Sharing on his Instagram account, Ronaldo used the following statements:

“Winning a World Cup for Portugal was the biggest and most ambitious dream of my career. Fortunately, I have won many international titles, including Portugal, but my dream was to bring our country’s name to the top of the world.”

“I GIVE IT ALL”

“I fought for it. I fought hard for this dream. In 16 years, 5 World Cups where he scored, I gave it my all, always with great players and with the support of millions of Portuguese. I left everything on the field. I never turned the fight around and I never gave up on this dream.”

“I DON’T TURN MY BACK ON MY COUNTRY”

“Unfortunately, the dream ended yesterday. Not worth the hot answer. I want everyone to know that much has been said, written and speculated, but my commitment to Portugal has not changed for a moment. I have always been a person who fought for everyone’s goal and I have never turned my back on my teammates, on my country.”

“There is not much to say for now. Thanks Portugal. Thanks Qatar. It was beautiful while the dream was happening… Now it’s time to let everyone draw their own conclusions.
