World Cup dreams for Germany tied to Costa Rica match
Germany and Costa Rica will meet tomorrow in the third and final match of Group E of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The match, which will be played at the Al Bayt stadium, will begin at 10:00 p.m. French referee Stephanie Frappart will officiate the match. Frappart will go down in history as the first female referee to officiate a match at the World Cup.
Germany, which can only score 1 point in 2 games played, is in last place in the group. Costa Rica, for its part, ranks 3rd after Japan, which has the same score with 3 points.
Germany needs to win and wait for the result of Spain-Japan to get out of the group.
If Costa Rica wins, they will be eliminated from the group. In case of loss, Costa Rica will be eliminated from the tournament.
