The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced the Services Producer Price Index (H-PPI) for October 2023.

THE GREATEST INCREASE IS IN ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPORT SERVICES

Compared to the same month of the previous year, 63.90 percent in transportation and storage services, 94.90 percent in accommodation and food services, 81.38 percent in information and communications services, 72, 57 percent in real estate services, 92 percent in professional, scientific and technical services. , There was an increase of 53 percent and 95.10 percent in administrative and support services.

Compared to the previous month, there was a 1.61 percent increase in transportation and storage services, a 0.53 percent increase in accommodation and food services, a 3.03 percent increase in information and communications services, an increase of 0.36 percent in real estate services and an increase of 0.36 percent. percent increase in professional, scientific and technical services, there was a 4.52 percent increase and a 1.54 percent decrease in administrative and support services.

INCREASES IN SUBSECTORS

Among the H-PPI sectors, water transportation services, air transportation services, 41.67 percent, warehousing and support services (for transportation) were the subsectors where the indices increased the least, with 16.32 percent. On the other hand, the subsectors where the indices increased the most were film, video and television program production services with 134.60 percent, construction and landscaping services with 128.75 percent and advertising services. and market research with 109.79 percent.

Among the H-PPI sectors, accommodation services with 10.53 percent, travel agencies, tour operators, other reservation services and related services with 8.37 percent and air transportation services with 3. 09 percent were the subsectors where the indices showed the greatest decrease. On the other hand, programming and publishing services with 19.25 percent, advertising and market research services with 11.36 percent and information services with 6.80 percent were the subsectors where the most the indices increased.
