According to preliminary estimates announced by Russia’s Federal Statistical Service (Rosstat), the unemployment rate in the country fell to 2.9 percent in October, the lowest level in history.

While the volume of retail trade increased by 5.5 percent in the first nine months of the year compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 38.2 trillion rubles, automobile production in Russia increased by 8.1 percent compared to the previous year, reaching 417 thousand rubles. .

The Russian economy, which grew 5.5 percent in the third quarter of the year, grew 2.9 percent in the first nine months of the year.

Russia’s Ministry of Economic Development predicted that the growth of the Russian economy would be 2.8 percent this year, pointing to manufacturing, construction, agricultural areas and consumer demand as the main factors contributing to the growth.
