Free shipping of cereals from Russia to some African countries has begun

Russian Agriculture Minister Dmitriy Patrushev announced that free grain shipments have begun to some African countries and that two ships will arrive in Somalia and Burkina Faso at the end of the month.

Patrushev informed journalists in the capital Moscow about the free delivery of grain to some African countries, which Russia announced some time ago.

WILL ARRIVE AT THE BEGINNING OF DECEMBER

Patrushev noted that the shipments in question have already begun, saying: “The first two ships, each weighing 25,000 tons, left Russian ports heading to Somalia and Burkina Faso. “We expect it to arrive at its destination in late November and early December.” saying.

Patrushev noted that shipments to Mali, Central African Republic and Eritrea will begin at the end of the year.

In his statement on July 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin said they would send between 25,000 and 50,000 tons of grain to Burkina Faso, Zimbabwe, Mali, Somalia, the Central African Republic and Eritrea, free of charge. (AA)
