Central Bank gross reserves increased, net reserves decreased
The Central Bank (CBRT) published weekly monetary and banking statistics.
The total reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) increased by 1.8 billion dollars in the week of November 3 compared to the previous week, reaching 128.4 billion dollars.
As of November 3, the Central Bank’s gross foreign exchange reserves increased by $1.5 billion to $83.9 billion. On October 27, gross foreign exchange reserves amounted to $82.4 billion.
During the aforementioned period, gold reserves increased by $328 million, from $44.1 billion to $44.4 billion.
NET RESERVES DECREASE
In the week of November 3, net reserves decreased from $25.1 billion to $24.7 billion.
CBRT net reserves, excluding swaps, increased by -$1 billion last week, reaching $55.4 billion. The previous week these data amounted to -56.4 billion dollars.
