AKP and MHP reject proposal to investigate bureaucrats who receive more than one salary
In the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, the proposal of the Felicity Party group to present the proposal regarding the investigation of public officials assigned and paid more than once in the public sector was rejected by the deputies of the AKP and the MHP.
Speaking about the proposal, Saadet Party Group Vice President Bülent Kaya said: “Not everything that is legal is a right, not everything that is legal is halal. Therefore, there is a need to investigate the extent of multiple assignment and multiple salary practices in the public sector. I wonder if these politicians, who were appointed consultants, presidents of the board of directors and members of the board of directors, with titles such as former deputies, ministers, presidents of parliament, mayors, deputy mayors, and were distributed among themselves in the public sector , were assigned to these matters so that they did not resort to beatings or drummers. “I present it,” he said.
“THERE ARE 11 PRESIDENTIAL ADVISERS WHO RECEIVE A SALARY”
İYİ Party Aydın Deputy Ömer Karakaş recalled that Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek published a circular on public savings and said: “While the dear minister publishes this circular, he is not even aware of the good salaries of his colleagues. Deputy ministers, bureaucrats, hundreds of presidential advisors whose numbers we do not even know, pocket additional money worth at least 10 pensions every month under the name of board members of many boards such as TÜPRAŞ, PETKİM, Eximbank and Türk Telekom. On the other hand, there is a government that refuses to give even a bonus of 5,000 liras, which is given as charity to our retirees, to working retirees. There are 11 paid presidential advisors. “What do these friends of ours do to earn such exorbitant salaries as board members?” he asked.
CHP Zonguldak Deputy Deniz Yavuzyılmaz gave the example of people receiving more than one salary. Yavuzyılmaz said:
* “Nadir Alparslan, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the AK Party. He is also a member of the board of directors of Kuveyt Türk Katılım Bankası.
