The United States imposes Russian sanctions on Turkish companies

The US Department of Commerce decided to restrict exports to many companies, including a company from Turkey, for their support of the Russian military industry.

According to the news collected by Reuters, in addition to 42 Chinese companies, export controls will be imposed on a total of seven companies from Finland, Germany, India, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.

The sale of integrated circuits of American origin to publicly traded companies will be restricted.

The official of the United States Department of Commerce, Matthew Axelrod, said yesterday in a statement that they sent a clear message with this decision, that they knew those who supply technology of American origin to the Russian defense sector and took action.

China described the US decision as “unilateral economic pressure and intimidation.”
