According to the information obtained, work on the bill on housing rental for tourism purposes has been completed.
The “Draft Law on the rental of housing for tourist purposes and the amendment of some laws”, which is expected to be presented to Parliament in the coming days, includes the procedures and principles relating to the rental of housing to individuals and legal entities for tourist purposes .
In addition, the proposal includes many regulations, from the issuance of permits to administrative penalties for renting houses for tourist purposes.
CAN BE RENTED FOR A MAXIMUM OF 100 DAYS
According to the regulation, the details of which deputies are working on, it is expected that rentals made for more than 100 consecutive days will be outside the scope of application of the law. If the regulation becomes law, the houses can be rented for tourist purposes for a maximum of 100 consecutive days.
Once the bill is accepted by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and becomes law, heavy administrative fines will be imposed on those who do not comply with the rules of the law. (AA)
