Another discount on gasoline
After the sharp drop in oil prices yesterday, gasoline discounts came to the fore again.
According to information provided by fuel industry sources, starting at midnight today there will be a discount of 1 lira and 17 kurus on the price of a liter of gasoline.
Last night there was a discount of 2 liras and 11 kurus on gasoline. Therefore, the amount of the two-day discount on gasoline will increase to 3 liras and 26 kuruş.
There will be no change in diesel prices tonight.
The price of a barrel of Brent oil fell 5.6 percent yesterday to $86. The drop in oil prices was due to concerns about high interest rates and rising expectations of a global economic slowdown.
WHAT WILL THE NEW PRICES BE?
With tonight’s discount, the price of a liter of gasoline will decrease to approximately 33.47 TL in Istanbul, 34.07 TL in Ankara and 34.18 TL in Izmir.
The price of a liter of diesel is approximately 40.13 TL in Istanbul, 40.69 TL in Ankara and 40.87 TL in Izmir.
Prices vary between provinces, districts and dealers.
