Natural gas prices increased
The tariff for residential and industrial subscribers and the tariff table for electricity production, which will come into force in October, were published on the BOTAŞ website.
Consequently, the sales price that BOTAŞ will apply to distribution companies for residential consumers in October was announced at 4.80 lira per 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas.
PRICES INCREASE BY 20 PERCENT
The tariff for industrial subscribers was set at 8,549 liras per 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas for stage 1 and 11,374 liras for stage 2. In the electricity production tariff, the price of 1,000 cubic meters of gas natural was announced at 12,000 lire.
While there were no changes in the wholesale price of natural gas used in residences, the sales price of gas used in large industrial companies and small and medium-sized businesses increased by 20 percent with the natural gas rate for electricity generation.
Natural gas price rates are calculated monthly.

ELECTRICITY HAS ALSO BEEN INCREASED
While the electric rate, effective October 1, remained constant for residential subscribers, it increased approximately 20 percent for commercial and industrial subscribers.
