The debts of state companies and organizations to be privatized have been determined
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced the share debts of state-owned companies and organizations in the privatization program at current prices starting from the second quarter of 2023.
Consequently, the total internal debt of the organizations amounted to 576 thousand 897 million 570 thousand thousand liras and the external debt to 110 thousand 736 million 511 thousand liras. Thus, the total volume of debt amounted to 687 billion 634 million 81 thousand liras.
The highest item among internal debts was the debts of official departments with 211 billion 112 million 736 thousand liras, followed by the debts of real/legal persons with 174 billion 454 million 499 thousand liras, and the debts of banks commercial with 121 billion 253 million. 787 thousand lire.
EMPLOYMENT FIGURES
The Ministry also announced employment figures for state-owned enterprises and organizations included in the privatization program.
Thus, while a total of 103,776 people work in state-owned companies and organizations of the privatization program, of them 103,548 are employed in organizations of the Treasury portfolio and 228 in organizations of the privatization portfolio.
Of the employees, 4,317 are civil servants, 43,173 are contracted, 42,246 are workers within the scope, 3,452 are workers outside the scope and 10,588 are temporary workers. (AA)
