The credit guarantee limit for SMEs is increased

With the decision, the loan guarantee that SMEs can use from the system was increased from 100 million lira to 150 million lira. For large companies, this amount increased from 350 million lira to 500 million lira.

The decision, published with the signature of the President, entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette.

Consequently, the loan guarantee limit that an SME can use from the loan guarantee system was increased from TL 100 million to TL 150 million, while this figure was increased from TL 350 million to TL 500 million for large companies that are not SMEs.

WHO WILL BENEFIT?

Companies with the qualification of SMEs, start-ups whose first-year accounts have not yet been approved, and tradesmen and craftsmen, self-employed persons, agricultural companies and farmers will be eligible for the specified guarantee limits. that are considered SMEs.

In addition, with the temporary provision added to the decision, companies that fall outside the definition of SMEs but included in the definition of SMEs with the new regulation will also benefit from the opportunities determined for “non-SME companies” until the 31st of December 2023.
