Erdogan: The problems in the economy are political

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke at the Turkish Contractors Association Overseas Contracting Services Achievement Award Ceremony in Ankara.

“A very important part of the problems we experienced in the economy were not economic, but the product of the implementation of political games. Of course, every fight has a charge. We have once again witnessed the attempt to design the country’s politics above the economy before the elections,” he said.

Giving messages about the economy in his speech, Erdoğan stated that they have implemented programs that will strengthen the macro-economy. Erdogan claimed that international financial institutions have started transferring $10 billion in resources to Turkey.

‘WE TAKE MEASURES TO STRENGTHEN THE MACROECONOMY’

“We are implementing programs that will strengthen the macroeconomy without prejudice to the objective of making our country grow through investment, employment, production and exports. Thanks to the climate of trust that we have strengthened, international financial institutions have begun to pour 10 billion dollars in resources to our country”.

Stating that they are making great efforts to solve the cost of living issue, Erdoğan said, “We believe that we will start getting results on this matter in a short time, with new steps on top of the mechanisms we have established.”
