According to the news from Saudi Arabia’s official news agency (SPA), the Saudi Arabia-China Business Forum kicked off in Beijing, the capital of China.
Housing Minister Majid al-Hukayl and Beijing Ambassador Abdurrahman bin Ahmed al-Harbi attended the forum from Saudi Arabia.
Making a statement to SPA, Hukayl said that they signed 12 investment agreements between the two countries in the fields of infrastructure development, finance, housing and real estate in Saudi Arabia, and their investment value is more than 5 billion. rials.
Stating that the construction of 300,000 houses has started in 17 cities in Saudi Arabia, Hukayl stressed that the total investment value of these houses exceeds 100 billion riyals (27 billion U.S. dollars), and called on Chinese companies to invest in the country.
During his 4-day visit to China, Minister Hukayl will meet with Chinese officials on the development of infrastructure projects and investment opportunities in the housing and municipal sectors in Saudi Arabian cities. (AA)
