62 percent of citizens fear not being able to meet their basic needs

According to the investigation ‘The effects of the economic crisis on the citizens of the Turkish Policy Panel’ conducted by Yoylem Research, 67 percent of citizens fear losing their standard of living.

According to data obtained from interviews conducted by the company with 2,100 citizens in 27 provinces between July 27 and 31, the majority of citizens in Turkey fear losing their standard of living, not being able to meet their minimum needs, not getting a education and not being able to pay his debts.

GREAT FEAR OF LIVING

The highlights of the research are as follows:

* While 67 percent of citizens were afraid of losing their standard of living, the rate of those who were not afraid of losing their standard of living was 25.6 percent.

* 58.6 percent of citizens are afraid of not being able to meet their health expenses. 34.7% of citizens have no concern on this issue.

* While 62 percent of citizens are afraid of not being able to meet their minimum needs, 29.4 percent do not have that fear.

* While 55 percent of the participants are concerned that they or their family members will not be able to receive an education, 39.8 percent have no such concern.

* While 53.4 of the citizens fear losing their job or not being able to find it, 40.6 of them do not have such concerns.

* While 64 percent of respondents fear not being able to pay their debts, 28.3 percent have no such concerns.
