New step for salary increase of civil servants

Memur-Sen announced his demands for an increase

Memur-Sen announced the proposals for the 7th Term Collective Agreement that cover almost 4 million public servants and more than 2 million retirees.

Memur-Sen listed the collective bargaining demands, including wage increase rates and rental assistance, as follows:

* First of all, we want an increase of ₺1650 in wages to fulfill the promise and find the return on the promise.

* Wages and salaries of public officials; By 2024, we want a total increase of 70 percent, including Social Participation, for quarterly periods, and a total of 40 percent, including Social Participation, for 6-month periods by 2025.

* We want the Collective Agreement bonus to be paid incrementally and monthly.

* We want all 1st grade civil servants to have 3600 Additional Indicators.

* We want a monthly allowance of 7,650 liras for civil servants.

* We want the Auxiliary Services Class to be abolished and transferred to the GİH.

* We want a religious festival bonus of 4 thousand 850 lire separately in Ramadan and Festivals of Sacrifice.

* As Family Assistance; We want the benefit for the spouse to be 2 thousand lira and the benefit for the children to be 500 lira.

* We want the Income Tax to be set at 15 percent.

* Engineer, branch manager, manager, assistant manager, boss, etc. We want the economic rights of titled personnel to be redefined, including compensation for special services and additional payments.

* We want civil servants in the earthquake zone to be rewarded and paid their severance payments by the end of 2025.

* We want the Promotion and Title Change Exams to be carried out periodically, without exceeding three years.

* We want the figure of the indicator in the unemployment pension account to be increased to 100 and the time limit to be eliminated.

* We request incremental pay for Overtime, Subsistence, Land Compensation, Clothing Help and Food Help.

* We want Law No. 4688 to become compatible with universal principles and standards.

* Public Personnel System; We want issues such as salary scale, title, career to be improved and reviewed.

* We want additional payments made to family members of disabled, veterans, veterans, and martyrs.

* We want a regulation for the amnesty of disciplinary sanctions after 17 years with certain criteria.

* We want female civil servants to have paid maternity leave of 32 weeks, which is 16 weeks, increase the length of maternity leave, and make the right to work part-time a de facto practice.

* We want the maternity benefit to be paid at 5,098 liras, the marriage allowance at 24,215 liras, the death benefit at 19,372 liras.

* We want to provide free kindergarten services in institutions and provide kindergarten support of 2,778 lira in places where this service is not available.

* We want the increase of 8,077 liras to be reflected in retired civil servants.

* We want retired public servants to be able to join unions in the service branch, including the institutions in which they last served.
