Automotive Aftermarket Products and Services Association (OSS) has published a report for the second quarter of the year.
According to the investigation, the first problem observed in the second quarter of 2023 was the ‘increase in the exchange rate’.
In the survey, in which 91.2% of OSS members ranked the exchange rate and rising exchange rates as the industry’s biggest problems, ‘cash flow problems’ continued to be one of the priority issues.
55.9 percent of those surveyed pointed to cash flow problems and 35.3 percent supply problems.
In addition, 35.3 percent of the participants mentioned freight costs and delivery problems, and 23.5 percent mentioned legislative changes as major problems.
INVESTMENT PLANNERS RATE DECREASES TO 33.3 PERCENT
According to the survey, the rate of members considering new investments in the next three months fell below the previous period at 44.1 percent.
While 61.5% of producer members planned investments in the previous survey, this rate decreased to 33.3 percent in the new survey.
The ratio, which was 32.45 percent for distribution partners, increased to 50 percent in this period.

The rate of members of the OSS Association, who stated that there were no changes in the collection processes, which was 60 percent in the first quarter of 2023, rose to 61.8 percent in the second quarter of 2023.
