How much does a liter of gasoline cost in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir?
The price of gasoline rose after the increase in the amounts of the special consumption tax (SCT). After its publication in the Official Gazette, the Presidential Agreement on the Redetermination of the Amounts of the Special Consumption Tax Applied to Certain Assets entered into force.
HOW MUCH DOES A LITER OF GASOLINE COST?
While the price of gasoline was 28.05 lira in Istanbul, 28.53 lira in Ankara and 28.63 lira in Izmir, the price of gasoline rose to 35.90 lira, reaching a record level with the rise.
While diesel rose to 33.18 liras, autogas went to 15.91 liras.
Before the regulation, a liter of diesel sold for 26.32 lira in Istanbul, 26.80 lira in Ankara and 26.97 lira in Izmir.
Following the increase in the SCT, fuel prices were updated late at night.
Within the scope of the reform, the SCT amounts of products such as benzol, tuluol, xyol, solvent naphtha and mineral lubricants are also regulated.
GASOLINE INCREASED 5 LIRA PER LITER
The amount of the SCT on 95 octane unleaded gasoline will be 7.52 lira in total, and the excise tax on 98 octane unleaded gasoline will be 7.99 lira per liter.
The SCT will be charged 7.05 liras per liter of diesel and 5.77 liras for LPG autogas.
The LPG increase was 5 lire.
