Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson announced that Sweden supports the establishment of closer economic relations between Turkey and Europe.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, who made a press release last night after the meeting between President Tayyip Erdoğan and Kristersson in Vilnius, said: “President Erdogan has promised to send Sweden’s accession protocol to the Grand Assembly Turkish national as soon as possible. He is pleased to announce that he has agreed to pass it in parliament,” he said.
